Professor Tony Watkinson is one of the two founders of IRTB. He trained in Radiology in Bristol and London and undertook an Interventional Fellowship at Guys’ and St Thomas’ in London. He works at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital as an Interventional Radiologist and is an Honorary Professor in Radiology at the Peninsula Medical School. Until recently, he was President of the British Society of Interventional Radiology and has written widely on the specialty. |
Dr Andrew Edwards |
Dr Andrew Edwards is the second founder of IRTB. He trained in Radiology in the Peninsula and is an Interventional Radiologist in the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, Cornwall. He is an enthusiastic trainer and strong proponent of Radiology training in the UK. |
